<p>I&#8217;m trying to figure out if this is a real article or tongue-in-cheek.  Although a lot of what is written here is true, such as&#8230;</p>
<blockquote><p><em>Explore different genres and find your musical niche! Don&#8217;t limit yourself to what everyone else is listening to. Mainstream radio stations are generally NOT your best source for quality indie music.</em></p></blockquote>
<p>Some of it is just funny&#8230;<strong></strong></p>
<blockquote><p><em>Allow yourself some stubble. Shaving is so corporate!</em></p></blockquote>
<p style="text-align: left;">Anyway, since it is a Wiki article, feel free to add to it if you think you have some good advice for people who are aspiring to be independent but can&#8217;t figure out how to do it by themselves.</p>
